FastPatch Concrete Life Extension
FastPatch is a unique polyurethane repair system that bonds tenaciously to surfaces and remains flexible throughout its service life. FastPatch is a significant leap forward in technology from antiquated cementitious or “powder” type repair materials that are non-flexible, require water, and are labour intensive to install.
The cure time of FastPatch is just a few minutes, allowing for quick return-to-service times. It is also cold applied, which makes it safe to use. Overall, FastPatch will outlast and outperform traditional repair materials due to its unique polyurethane properties.
FastPatch is available in several formulae depending on what your requirements are.
FastPatch LV is a low viscosity product with a quick set time for filling fine cracks and small holes in concrete. It is also used for securing holding down bolts and railway fixings; it is fully cured and at maximum strength after one hour, and is used extensively in high load and impact environments.
FastPatch 5000 is a flexible, tough concrete surface patch repair material with excellent adhesion. It is 100% solids, 2-component polyurethane designed to meet 5,000 psi (34.5mpa) compression strength requirements combined with excellent flexibility and resilience. Areas repaired with FastPatch 5000 can be re-opened to traffic in less than one hour.
FastPatch DPR concrete or asphalt repair is supplied in complete, ready-to-use kits with a blend of recycled and renewable materials. Each kit comes with two colour options of grey or black and topping sand to blend repair areas with the surrounding pavement to form a permanent repair that is quickly ready for traffic.
EJC is an ASTM C920 Type M, Grade P, Class 50 expansion joint compound with excellent elongation and cure. It is available in black or grey, with 25, 50, or 100% elongation. Environmentally friendly with nil VOCs and is EC approved for aviation as it has chemical resistance, particularly against fuel and acids.
